The type of information that we collect

We obtain information about you when you contact us in person or by telephone and when you use our website and online chat facility. We need this information to enable us to provide our online booking services and our in branch services. The information we collect varies from the initial enquiry to the compiling the final rental agreement –

a) At the enquiry stage we may request your name, telephone number, email address, age and issuing country of your driving licence.

b) During the booking process we may request your full name, address, date of birth and nationality and similar details of anyone else that will form part of the rental agreement.

c) At the time of the rental we may collect a note of your occupation, a copy of proof of address, a copy of alternative identification, a copy of your driving licence and details thereof.

  • Contact you regarding queries raised in the enquiry form.
  • Progress a booking you have submitted and send you information directly related to this.
  • Carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between us.
  • Seek your views or comments on the services we provide.
  • Notify you of changes to our services.

We review our data retention periods regularly and will only hold your personal data for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as required by law (we may be legally required to hold some types of information), or as set out in any relevant contract we have with you.
