Ideal for the School mid-term breaks our family loved this road trip.

We headed to Yorkshire’s theme park – Flamingo Land and Zoo ideal for my 3 and 6 year old girls.   We arrived on a Thursday evening and stayed on the campsite for two nights giving us two full days to enjoy the Theme Park and the Zoo.

On the Saturday we headed East with a choice of destinations we opted for Robins Hood Bay, Whitby  and enjoyed short walk into the town for our evening meal.  Next time I think we will try and have an extra day and perhaps stay in Scarborough as it has lots to offer a family.

The next morning we headed North up the east coast with a stop of in Eyemouth to catch sight of the wild seals, they were huge and some wonderful ice-cream treats before our journey to North Berwick.  On a recommendation we stayed at Tantallan Caravan Park and enjoyed the children’s on site facilities before a brief walk to the shore.
