Motorhome in Winter Months
A Motorhome is very cosy and from Autumn through to Spring the colours in Scotland and scenery are wonderful.
We want all of our clients to enjoy their Motorhome holiday regardless of the time of year, but when heading off during the winter months you need to safeguard yourself from low temperatures.
When the temperature inside the Motorhome drops below 5 degrees the systems will protect themselves by shutting down and releasing all on board water.
We recommend that you stay on a campsite for a few reasons. You will have access to a Motorhome Service Point where you can replenish fresh water, safely dispose of chemical toilet waste and drain off the grey water waster tank. Campsites may have an electric hook up at your pitch as an additional source of power and most have toilet and shower facility blocks.
